A friend and I are planning on going to disneyland florida over christmas. Will is be really busy? Thanks|||Disney World is in Orlando. Disneyland is in California. I don't know about California, but Orlando - it's the worst time to go. Wall to wall people and it's totally crazy. The parks are really great though, they really do the holiday thing up nice. If you can do the Disney stuff BEFORE December 25th - you'll be better off. The week between Xmas and New Years is their busiest. And I mean, you'll stand in line an hour for each thing. I went Dec 26th one time and was so packed that I really didn't enjoy it. The earlier you go in Dec the better it is. |||Busy|||I went to Orlando over Christmas for a 3 week holiday a fair few years ago and it was very very busy!|||i went two years in a row over the first week its not bad second its a little busy but you will get on so many rides if u go to the theme parks and its christmasy a little cold|||It's one of the busiest times of year at disney. I avoid it at all costs. but if you don't mind crowds its a great time to go because of weather and the decorations.|||The weeks before Christmas are some of the best days to be in Orlando and visit Disney World, Universal Studios and the Orlando area in general. The crowds are about the lowest of the year. You'll have almost no waiting in line, virtually no crowds, and should be able to find good (or great) deals on hotels. Best of all is that the Holiday decorations are up and the Holiday entertainment programs are in full swing to get you into the Holiday mood. It is awesome! Weather can be a challenge as it can get quite cold (with average daily lows dipping into the 40s), although you can expect average daily highs in the 70s.
I would *highly* recommend against going for the two weeks of Christmas / New Years. The crowds slowly grow the week of Christmas and by Christmas Day the parks, the restaurants, the shops are all packed to capacity. I've been many times at at different times of the year and this is definitely the busiest that you will see it.
It is a night and day difference within just a few days.|||That is the busiest time of year at Disney World. You can still have a great time, but you will need a plan. We went over the holidays and we used Custom Mouse Plans. The plans were great and we never waited more than 10-15 minutes for any ride. |||All the holidays and school vacations are very busy.|||Disney is busy anytime school is out for vacation, this include the Christmas holidays. The best time to go to Disney World is actually right after Thanksgiving and right before Christmas. It is a very festive time to and the crowds will be at their lowest since everyone is back in school, the weather won't be hot but it will be cool and manageable. |||Hate to say this but its is the busiest time of year, the last week of December. Expect long lines and huge crowds.|||Very Very Busy!
Park reach capacity before 11AM on most days.
This mean parking lot are full and they won't let any more guest in.
Lines are a nightmare.|||Christmas time is the busiest time of the year. It is really awesome, they have a lot of extra entertainment, shows, and parades that time of year!
Have fun!|||BUSY! BUSY! BUSY!
ITS HARD TO MOVE. ULL BE LUCKY IF U GET ON MORE THAN 20 RIDES IN 1 DAY!
THANKSGINING AND XMAS R THE WORST TIMES.
