What can a mother and daughter do for Christmas if it is just them two alone together?

Me and my mother are spending Christmas alone together again. Last year it was sad, lonely, miserable, and depressing, all we did was wake up say merry christmas opened a couple of presents then went back to sleep. What can we do this year to actually have fun and celebrate Christmas with enthusiasm and love? Also me and my mother are use to spending Christmas with a lot of family but we're going through hard times and can't be with family.|||1. When you wake up, pop in a Christmas CD and make a delicious breakfast together. French toast, bacon or sausage, and oranges are easy to make!

2. While you eat breakfast, watch a classic Christmas movie or just talk! :)

3. Exchange gifts.

4. Get dressed out of your pajamas, and go shopping or go see a movie in theaters.

5. After shopping or seeing a movie, go out for lunch at a fancy restaurant.

6. At the end of the day, if you're up to it, invite a couple of close friends over to have a nice dinner (that you and your mom prepare together, of course!) and a delicious dessert. Maybe you could even plan a white elephant gift exchange!

I hope you have a merry Christmas despite the hard times. :)|||life will be better. I have the similar experience with you last year, and we spent the Christmas day lonely. Without mother, our world is so gloomy. The new Christmas day is coming, I think we'll wake up and invite friends happily. If we are happy, i think life will be better.|||well u can consider a nice dinner xmas eve. drinks of course if you're old enough.
