Is it possible to keep a Christmas tree alive and well indoors as a permanent houseplant?

What I would really really really like to do is keep a Christmas tree indoors as a permanent plant within my house. Is there any known way of doing this? I do not have a yard or anything to plant it outdoors.|||the tree has no roots cant live indoors|||big pot|||No.

If you want a house plant, get a Norfolk Island Pine.|||You cannot keep a pine tree indoors for any length of time. How can you - most species can grow over 50 feet high!

Trees belong outdoors. Get a fern or rubber tree or something.|||Absolutely, just go to any garden center or plant nursery and purchase a potted growing tree, either a Douglas or Frasier Fir would be a great choices!

Happy Holidays! ;-)
