Operation Christmas Child: How can I get involved in bringing boxes to children in other countries?

I've been involved with Operation Christmas Child at my church for a number of years, organizing drives and packing boxes. How can I get involved in actually bringing the boxes to children overseas? Do they bring boxes during Christmas or year-round? I'm a 19 y/o college student and Christian.|||Hello, Good Day!

I wud like to add to what the other Two responders have suggested as under:

a) You can ship year-round.

b) Check the existing laws that prevails in the country of destination.

c)Usually the charitable items are tax exempted in most countries - but in many 3rd world countries shipping charitable goods is easy - but releasing them thru customs formalities are a BIG PAIN in the A...!!!!

d) Make sure that these items are Tax-Exempted in the country in which you are taking them / shipping to.

e) Few may require their respective ministry's prior permission - otherwise you can not release them.

Best of luck

Cheers

Love %26amp; Peace for Mankind|||They usually ship them in what is called a container, wich is a smaller version of a trailer from a trailer truck and then they ship it to where it is going. Some chuches send people to deliver the boxes too and if you contact Operation Christmas Child they will gladly tell you where to sign up,they need people to go help because it is Christmas and not everybody wants to leave there family. Thanks for being such a huge blessing.|||Contact them at their website: http://www.samaritanspurse.org/occ
