I put up the Christmas Holly / Garland with tiny framing nails however last night we had major winds and its all been blown onto the front lawn. Because the house has a stucco finish I am hesitant to go with larger nails as I fear I will damage it. I have considered duct tape, but given the wind we had last night -- I doubt that would have worked. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated -- Merry Christmas!|||Duct tape will also ruin the finish on your house, its too sticky for the stucco, the blue painters tape will be best for removing with no damage to your house, but it's not that sticky and will fall off. two options i can think of
1. put the little nails in the fashia "the wood along your home"
2. use some really small toggle bolts with hooks, put a washer on it to cover the hole that you make to get the toggle in the stucco.|||if you have gutters use them to hang the lights from they have little hooks that attach your lights elect rial wire to them so they hang down .. If you want to put them up on the stucco get a finishing nail which is really skinny keep it as high up as possible and try to hit the frame work there skinny enough that it wouldn't show when you take the articles down|||blue maxch construction grade tape u could always use nails then patch ur self with is cheap however paint to cover the paint would be costly unless repainting ur house is a resolution.
