What could i use for christmas wrapping paper for my hamster and guinea pigs?

I want my pets to have a blast at christmas too! I want to wrap them up some stuff, but i want them to have a fun time opening the presents too!

Is it safe to use ordinary wrapping paper? Newspaper? Plain paper?

Some ideas please! Or should i get, like, some fabric materials or something, silky stuff?

HELP!|||Lettuce leaves|||commercial wrapping paper can have metal bits for glitter, harmful dyes and even preapplied toxic glue. your best choice is the sunday funnies in your local newspaper, these are normally non-toxic, colorful, and cheap. hope the little jelly bean makers have fun. oh and fabric can give them a bowel obstruction.|||I don't really think you're supposed to wrap pets for christmas. I think you should just buy a decorative basket and tie a red bow around its neck. Wrapping it wouldn't be good for it because it wouldn't be able to breathe very well and in all the movies I've seen they just tied a ribbon around its neck.|||Well I would go to pets at home and see if they have anything look on the internet. You could try fabric but first seek some professional advice.|||I think wrapping paper will be fun but just check on google it should give you the answer. Try that maybe it will fun.|||i done that last cristmas for my hamster! i used toilet roll! it works great, then afterwords, they use the toilet roll for bedding.!
