Can you see and feel the difference between Christmas in the past and of the present?

I don't feel the festive air anymore, so unlike Christmas in the past when you can breathe the goodness of the season. Is it because the spirit of Christmas is no longer as alive as it was in years gone by?|||For me, i feel like the older i get, the less happy it becomes.|||Thanks for the best answer po! =)

|||Oh yes, this Christmas will be wonderful and full of romance I am sure of that. Our first christmas being husband and wife and our third christmas since we met.|||These feeling you have of the dwindling feeling and atmosphere of Christmas is because you attached Christmas with its commercial trappings . What businessmen wants you to feel . This is normal , this is what we have been born with .but Christmas started without these material trappings . Christmas is the celebration of the first mass held in honor of the birth of Jesus Christ in a manger with no lights and bells and Christmas colored balls and ham and grapes and apples ...... .


Christmas is the joyful celebration of the birth of the savior , now if we could just go back to that real reason fo Christmas , then even the peso is 57 to 1 USD , or 36 to 1 USD , even we have 20 pesos to a gallon of Unleaded oil;or 200 to a gallon or Arroyo government is not hounded by corruption allegations or we have no new havaianas or Lacoste shirt this Christmas ,





then Christmas feeling will always be joyful and good.|||Past Christmases have been celebrated mostly in the Philippines and now I get to spend it here "alone" in the States...oh yes, BIG difference there!!! Not just in the air but in the deep recesses of my heart. %26lt;sigh%26gt;|||I can see the difference but the feeling is still the same|||you'll see the different christmas between past and present by read and analysis your diary book|||I know Annabelle,it's the same no matter where your at in the country.I mean c'mon,thier now calling them "holiday trees"

Christmas carolers in years!What's happening to our morals


and values these days?Just read a question on here the other day where a Mom had her daughter threaten her,to go live with her Dad,because the Mom couldn't afford Christmas gifts this year!Unreal how material our world has become!


I'm sorry this is what is happening but it is and thats what I'm beginning to see verses "the goodness of the season"!
