How and where can I recycle my christmas tree?
I don't want to just throw out my Christmas tree this year with my town's curbside pickup - I've heard of places where you can bring to have your tree mulched or used in a body of water for a reef habitat for fish. Anybody know where I can do this in New Jersey?|||In my town we have a green can that we put our yard waste into. This waste is recycled and turned into whatever they do with it. This might be an option in your town. Also, call your local trash company and ask them where you can drop off your tree.|||Use matches and a fireplace. Make love to a woman. Lay her down by the fire.|||try calling the parks commission in your area. I know in NE we can take them to various park parking lots and they mulch them and use them in the different parks...|||Call city hall and they can direct you. Just about every town now has a recycle program for christmas trees.|||In my area the local boy scout troup will pick them up for a small (like $5 or $10 donation), and they recycle them.

How much money should you spend on your boyfriend for christmas?
We havent even been together a month but christmas is coming , and i have never had a boyfriend for christmas before whats a reasonable amount to spend?|||enough for a Brazilian wax
Grinch|||Honestly, if he is a good boyfriend he would like the gift whether you spent one dollar on it or one hundred dollars on it, and i'm not implying that you would spend either of those amounts,I'm just saying you should buy him something that comes from the heart and not something expensive so he will give you something expensive in return. I hope you have a truly blessed holiday season, and good luck.|||I tend to spend 30 to 40 pounds on my boyfriend, but i've been with him for 2 christmas' now, but seen as you've only been together a short while I'd say about 10-20 would be a good amount, think tops, belts etc. I'm buying mine a watch he wants this year. Good luck. and have a great christmas!|||try finding out what hes going to give u. if its something expensive, try giving him something expensive. if ur not sure, don't give him something cheap. give him something he adores and has a reasonably price.|||$10-$20 is good enough, since you haven't been dating him that long|||any money because when u get married you will keep ur money together so

How do I make a styrofoam glitter Christmas decorations?
I remember making decorations as a kid that we would take paper Christmas napkins and glue them to styrofoam balls, then decorate with glitter.
I am not sure if I am missing any steps and I am not have any success with searching for this craft.
Anybody made these before / have full directions?
Thank you!|||Were you using translucent glitter (holographic, or pearl, or something), or were you using an opaque glitter like red or gold, etc.?
Were you using the larger-flake-size "craft" glitter?... or were you using the ultra-fine polyester glitters often used for decorating t-shirts and many other things, etc?
Were you covering the entire ball with glitter, or just certain parts or shapes?
The napkin part sounds like it was just "decoupage," using a purchased decoupage medium like ModPodge or Royal Coat, or the homemade version of a permanent white glue like Elmers GlueAll thinned 3 or 4 to 1 with water (these would be used both under and over the napkin parts). You could decoupage pieces of napkin/etc on any surface btw, even on metallic "glass" xmas ball ornaments (though the color of the ball ornaments could show through any light-colored napkins).
Sometimes those fine-grain polyester glitters in translucent versions (no "color) or holographic ones are used over entire colored images or objects so that the images show through and are sparkly but less distinct (the glitters are sprinkled onto a wet layer of the decoupage medium or thinned glue, or perhaps mixed into the medium then brushed onto the surface).

How do you safely use an extension cord with outdoor Christmas lights?
I'm hanging Christmas lights for the first time and need to connect my house lights to a bush net light set. The only outdoor extension cords I can find are three prong, the Christmas lights are two prong. Every website I found says you have to use a three prong for safety's sake. How do I work around this safely?|||If the lights do not have a ground buying an adapter doesn't make any difference. Plug the grounded extension cord into then the 2 prong male lights into the 3 prong female cord. Just do as said above and make sure to form a proper seal with electrical tape.
They don't see Christmas lights with a ground so whether you use a 2 or 3 prong extension cord is not going to matter.|||Go to you local hardware store and ask for an adapter...it plugs into a three and allows you to plug in a two prong.|||you can cut off the 3rd prong on the extension cord plug in your lights an wrap 2 or 3 layers of black electrical tape and then a layer of duct tape on the connection and everything should be fine keep an eye on it to be safe but its not likely any problems will arise they also make a three prong to two prong adapter but still cover all your extension cord to light cord or light cord to light cord connections with black electrical tape to keep water out|||Wrap the connection with electrical tape and you should be OK. Good Luck!!!|||GoGreen is right|||Ha Ha im like clark griswald on national lampoons christmas vacation i use all kinds of cords when i hang stuff up and never had a problem yet been doing it for years can't really answer ya buddy|||I used a (i don't know what its called) thing that has a 2 prong male and a 3 prong female. PLugged the xmas lights into one end and the other into the outlet. But I made sure this was inside (i attached it in the garage) and went from there.
