i'm 15 and my boyfriend has already gotten my christmas present. and of course he tells me "having you is the best i can ask for" but i know i need to get him something still. and it's really hard to shop for guys. i dont wanna get him just like...a cd or dvd or giftcertificate...maybe a gift certificate and something else. but what else?|||Oh, it's easy to shop for someone once you know what kinds of things they are into. If you know what kind of music or movies he likes, that helps. Know what clothes he likes or his size, that's great. Does he play any video games or load games on an iPod? If you don't have these answers, then figure out where he tends to buy things and then get him a $25 gift card there or however much you are planning to spend. You might buy him a movie at Blockbuster or get him a gift card for TWO, complete with a popcorn and soda to share at your local movie theater so you can go see a movie together. Or get him some cologne that you like on him. Put a giftcard into a Christmas card and write something nice in it. Tell him that having him is the best thing under the tree this year.|||I'm always told that "men are so difficult to buy for!" Not true! A bit of imagination is all it takes. These are some of the things that I'd be happy to receive at Christmas - and none of them need cost very much:
Socks or handkerchiefs - not as boring as you might think! I always like getting these - because I get through so many and no-one wants to give them!
I love eating (and cooking!) -- so a lushy item from a good food store such as cheese, nuts or olives is right up my street.
Like many men, I'm always fascinated by gadgets. An example: I'm always losing my keys. I wish someone would give me one of those key rings that bleeps when you whistle at it.
I love nice soap that's designed for men - look for soap that's scented with vetiver - I bet your guy would love it.
I like to do crosswords. One of the nicest presents i got last year was a diary filled with puzzles from the Times. Went through that pretty fast.
I'm a golf fanatic and have always wanted some customized golf balls with my name on them.
